My scripting process for the Boatcrash Chronicles is usually just jotting down a single line, either a piece of dialogue or a situation. This tiny note usually gets less legible the longer it is. Since I usually do this comic spontaneously, whenever I encounter inspiration, the idea's fresh in my head and the note is just a formality reminder. However, when months pass between the drawing and the computerizing stages, those notes are much more important... and almost inevitably fail me. I know I had something else for Wombat to say in the last panel, but it's now lost inside the fog of my brain forever.
